Laghu Udyog Bharti officers call on Commerce Minister

Commerce and Industries Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya had a meeting with regional officers of Laghu Udyog Bharti with the purpose of solving the problem being faced by the small-scale industries, on Monday.
On April 23 and 24, a meeting of the Laghu Udyog Bharti national executive committee was held in Ujjian, in which more than 800 entrepreneurs participated. With the large set of demands, the Minister had assured that he would have regular meetings with the Laghu Udyog Bharti office bearers to address these problems.
In accordance with the promise, the Minister met the delegates on Monday, in which the participants fixed a day on which the meeting would take place every month. According to the decision, the next meet has been scheduled for the month of June.
The delegates of the Laghu Udyog Bharti expressed gratitude towards the Minister in the form of a memorandum for making a provision that no development fee would be charged in cases pertaining to the transfer of land plots under MP Industrial Land and Industrial Building Management Act.
Regional president Laghu Udyog Bharti, Ullas Vaidya, officials of the Commerce and Industry Ministry and member of the central executive committee Ajay Narang, member of regional executive committee Rajesh Mishra, national vice president Jitendra Gupta and member of the central executive committee Sudhir Dante were present on the occasion.
Narang, who is also the regional in-charge of the Laghu Udyog Bharti, told The Pioneer that with increasing inclination of smaller industrial associations, the Laghu Udyog Bharti is all set to emerge as the umbrella organisation for medium and small scale industries in the near future.
